⚠️ You suspect signs of an adrenal crisis, such as vomiting, severe abdominal pain, confusion, or fainting — seek emergency care immediately.
Your adrenal health affects your entire body’s hormone balance. Don’t delay seeking help — early diagnosis saves lives.
Adrenal gland disorders are medical conditions that affect the adrenal glands—two small glands located on top of each kidney that are responsible for producing essential hormones like cortisol, aldosterone, and adrenaline. These hormones help regulate stress response, blood pressure, metabolism, and other vital body functions.
When the adrenal glands produce too little (adrenal insufficiency/Addison’s disease) or too much (Cushing’s syndrome or other conditions) of certain hormones, it can lead to symptoms such as extreme fatigue, muscle weakness, low blood pressure, weight changes, darkening of the skin, and salt cravings.
Although adrenal disorders are relatively rare, they can significantly impact health and daily life if left untreated. Early diagnosis, consistent monitoring, and proper medical care are crucial to managing hormone levels and preventing serious complications.
